Hello, I'm Antoaneta Metchanova. With roots in the ancient crossroads of Thrace, shaped by California's spirit of possibility, and refined by Paris' pursuit of beauty, craftsmanship, and culture, I bring a perspective that bridges disciplines, industries, and worlds. Grounded in classical art training and expanded through Silicon Valley's culture of experimentation and New Media, my approach combines visual intelligence, strategic thinking, and a belief in creativity as a force for human connection and transformation.
I help brands uncover what makes them distinctive and translate that clarity into identities, experiences, and platforms built to endure.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution - helping organizations define their point of view and express it with relevance and impact. My experience spans technology, finance, luxury, beauty, automotive, and lifestyle, guided by a belief that the strongest brands are defined not by the category they inhabit, but by the clarity of their identity and the strength of their ideas.
My work has included conceiving the World Wise brand platform for Morgan Stanley, transforming a complex business challenge - connecting the power of a global financial institution with the individual expertise of its advisors - into a human-centered brand narrative; contributing to IBM's global The Other IBM initiative, helping reposition the company from a hardware-led technology leader into a trusted partner in business consulting and human-centered intelligence; originating the strategic insight, creative development and execution of Louis Vuitton's Core Values platform, revealing the deeper cultural value and heritage of the brand; developing Montblanc's first unified global brand platform, serving as a catalyst for the brand's modernization; repositioning TAG Heuer from a luxury watch brand into a performance-driven luxury lifestyle brand; shaping the creative vision behind Publicis Worldwide's landmark global Cadillac win; and redefining iconic beauty and fragrance brands to enhance their distinctiveness, relevance, and desirability.
A thread runs through all my work: identity comes before expression. Before a brand can be recognized, it must first understand what makes it unmistakably itself. Creativity is the language that brings that identity to life.
At the heart of my work is a fascination with how symbols, stories, and ideas shape the way people perceive and connect with the world around them. Alongside my brand-building work, I share this perspective through master classes on visual cultureand semiotics - exploring how images, design, and storytelling create meaning, emotion, and connection.
I am driven by one question: What makes a brand, a person, or an experience unmistakably itself and how can that identity become something people value, remember, and carry forward?
